Morning Breakfast
This original, acrylic painting on paper was paintedof the breakfast I ate nearly every morning in Sevilla, Spain.
Size: 2
One of the more difficult transitions when moving abroad was the smaller and simpler breakfasts each morning. Instead of a big bowl of oatmeal or a plate of pancakes and eggs or a bagel with cream cheese, breakfast was nearly always one slice of toast with butter and jam, a piece of fruit and tea or coffee. I grew to appreciate this simple breakfast, and I feel a sense of peace and calm when I am reminded of it.
